Avebell
Dark copper bells, giant stone trees.
Sad birds looking in the lake to peck their distorted images.
Hairy grey grass growing fast on the inside.
And every senior ghost has its own bell.
There is not night or day - just fog from swamps.
There are no clouds, just slimy paper made zeppelins.
Thoughts and dreams are slashing each other to death.
Romans and greeks are the only citizens left.
And two venetian old fools.
They all look translucent like projected
by a huge Merkur portable projector (35mm - 1922).
Soldiers with led boots marching indefinitely,
Do not reach the battlefield ! There is Avebell.

Music for unquiet souls
I'm a recent convert to Makunouchi Bento & this EP is my favourite so far. Unlike the last commenter the Devil's Monocle is my favourite track. All those complex textures carefully woven into this cloth of deep & disturbing darkness. Love it.

If you are into experimental music with great harmonies, you should definitely give this one a shot! I think the first three tracks are awesome. I dislike the third one tho. I kinda cant hear those noisetracks anymore. Sadly that's the longest song. ;) But apart from that this is a great release! Love the strings of the third track. But just listen for yourself! :)
